Outpatient Mental Health Programs in Midland, Texas

Structured outpatient mental health care can provide more support than routine appointments without an overnight hospital stay. PBBHC plans partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for people who can live safely at home while participating in focused treatment.

About Outpatient Mental Health Care

Clinical structure that stays connected to daily life.

Planned outpatient programs will support people transitioning from inpatient care and others whose needs can be treated safely outside a hospital. PHP will be the more intensive day-program option. IOP will provide fewer weekly treatment hours while continuing to address recovery, symptom management and adjustment to work, school and home life.

Both programs are expected to emphasize group and skills-based therapy, emotional regulation, practical coping strategies, family engagement when appropriate and transition planning. A clinical assessment will determine whether a program matches the person's current needs and safety.
