Adults 18 and older can come to the front entrance at 900 Don Evans Way in Midland for a no-appointment behavioral health assessment.

- 5Discharge planningAftercare planning begins on day one, with follow-up appointments and community supports.

Do I need a referral to be admitted?
No. Adults 18 and older can call our 24/7 intake line or walk in for a behavioral health assessment. Providers and hospitals may also refer through XFERALL, phone or e-fax.
How long does the assessment take?
Most assessments take about one to two hours, depending on the situation and the information available. Intake will explain each step as you go.
What if inpatient care isn't the right fit?
If admission is not clinically appropriate, our team will share recommendations and help connect you with community resources or another level of care.
Is PBBHC an emergency room?
No. PBBHC is not an emergency department. For a medical or psychiatric emergency call 911, or call or text 988 for crisis support.
